You may have heard me talk about my vegan vanilla superfoods shake & all the yummy pumpkin spice drinks I've been making with it this fall.
On today's Superfood Saturday tip I wanted to talk about something that is getting more & hype these days: pea protein aka the non-dairy muscle builder

Here are some benefits of this superfood:
1. Aids weight loss
2. Supports a healthy heart
3. Make increase muscle thickness
4. Regulates blood sugar
Protein powders are definitely not created equal and it can be hard to navigate what is actually good for you.
It's commonly available as whey protein, brown rice protein powder and soy. Whey and brown rice protein have some incredible benefits, and both are very useful in their own right. On the other hand, soy protein, is a cheap filler & almost all soy in the U.S. is genetically engineered.
I love learning about all the options out there as well as superfoods and protein shakes ~ and I love drinking a shake everyday that I know is good for me and full of quality ingredients. Sometimes you need a good plant-based protein and I think pea is a great way to go, and it just happens to be in the vegan version of the one I love
