Clean Eating Birthday Pupcakes
Happy Birthday to our sweet Lucy!
We have had her now for about a year and she has brought so much joy into our lives.
So, we wanted to celebrate with some clean eating pupcakes!
Now, these are meant for dog consumption... but they are good for humans too :) ;) :)
Here's the recipe!
Do try piping them with a pastry bag... it makes for a very pretty effect and it's quite easy.
Try them for your next special occasion :)
Clean Eating Birthday Pupcakes
*For dog consumption, but safe for humans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Blend Dry Ingredients:
~3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
~1/2 cup Whole Oats
~1tsp Baking Powder
2. Pour Dry Ingredients into a separate mixing bowl
3. Blend Wet Ingredients:
~1 small Ripe Banana
~2 eggs
~1/2 cup peanut butter
~1/2 cup water
3. Pour Wet Ingredients into Dry and Combine
4.Spray a 12 count muffin pan with olive oil spray. Spoon batter into each muffin
cup till they are all about 2/3rds full.
5. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-18 minutes. Pupcakes are finished when a knife
inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean. Allow to cool before frosting.
6. Combine frosting ingredients:
~One 8 oz container of soft cream cheese
~1/2 cup peanut butter
7. Frost the pupcakes once completely cool either with a butter knife or put the icing
into a decorating bag with a fancy tip. Pipe on the frosting. Enjoy! :)
